DSDD Reign Again as SCL Champs!

The Dirty South Devil Dogs held on to win one of the closest championship matchups in SCL history, claiming the tile over the Springfield Isotopes, 452 to 447.

Adalberto Mondesi was named the championship MVP after posting 44 points during the title game with scores of 7, 10, 8, 8, and 7 over the final five days. Trevor Bauer added 36 points on three days rest and Famber Valdez added 29 of his own.

In what will always be remembered as a coronavirus-shortened season, the SCL was able to fit in a seven game suicide slate of games. The playoffs were also truncated to only one week each as well.

Paul got his DSDD off to a blazing 5-0 start before cratering the final two weeks of the season (and hit rock bottom by not even 300 fantasy points in Week 7). 

Turns out they were saving their best for last as they were able to get revenge on Chris for passing them for the division crown and then had to go to the very end of the Sunday games vs Dan to claim their 2nd title in the past three season.

This was Paul's 5th Triple Crown fantasy title - a big one as it moves him closer to the Silver Tier of the HOF tracking.

Other teams have gone "all in" to win in years past, but this may be the best we have seen in recent years. Ian was at a crossroads. Epic X Week 12 Power Rankings

Welcome to Triple Crown Fantasy Sports

A bunch of us have been playing fantasy sports together for damn near the past decade. I sent out a survey back in the fall just to make sure everyone is still having fun - seems like we are. I'm ready to take it all to the next level. Paul has always referred to the leagues that I started - Rebound League for basketball, the Epic X for football, and the Senior Circuit League (SCL) for baseball - as the "Josh Leagues."
