With the NBA's plan to return to action on July 31, it effectively ended our Rebound League fantasy basketball season. ESPN sent out a notification that the league champion would be whoever was in 1st place as of March 8 - giving Kevin the title for this year.
Some notes about the LottoSouth WildCats:
- Kudos to Kev as he quietly created a legit dynasty in basketball, winning 3 of the last 4 championships in Rebound.
- This was also his 5th title in that league - tying the Triple Crown record for most in any one sport (I have 5 in football).
- With his football championship in 2018, Kev has now won 5 titles in the last three calendar years (I don't think anyone else has done that?).
- Most importantly - and most annoyingly - Kevin now moves into sole position of 1st place in most championship titles across all Triple Crown leagues with 8 (he left me behind with my 7).
Makes me crazy, but I can't knock - Kev has become a legit force in the leagues in which he competes. Well done, sir!
