Welcome to Triple Crown Fantasy Sports

A bunch of us have been playing fantasy sports together for damn near the past decade. I sent out a survey back in the fall just to make sure everyone is still having fun - seems like we are.

I'm ready to take it all to the next level.

Paul has always referred to the leagues that I started - Rebound League for basketball, the Epic X for football, and the Senior Circuit League (SCL) for baseball - as the "Josh Leagues." I get it, but it's time for something more official.

Welcome to Triple Crown Fantasy Sports.

Moving forward, this site will be the place where I post weekly league recaps, news, updates, and maybe even start writing more.

Here's the other thing we are launching today:

The Triple Crown Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame.

I've been looking for more/better ways to incentivize everyone who plays in any of our leagues. Hell, I've been looking for new ways to incentivize myself.

Essentially there are 4 stats we're looking at to gain HOF access and there will be three tiers.

THE FOUR CATEGORIES:
- Seasons Participated
- Championship Titles
- Division Titles
- Winning Percentage*

THE THREE TIERS:
The Bronze Tier:
- 10 Fantasy Seasons
- 3 Championship Titles
- 5 Division Titles
- .550% Overall Winning Percentage*

The Silver Tier:
- 15 Fantasy Seasons
- 5 Championship Titles
- 10 Division Titles
- .600% Overall Winning Percentage*

The Gold Tier:
- 30 Fantasy Seasons
- 10 Championship Titles
- 20 Division Titles
- .650 Overall Winning Percentage*

I will send out a spread sheet that will show where everyone is on their own HOF journey. After each season, I will post new progress on this site but that sheet will be live at all times.

* - Once you hit the appropriate mark, even for a day, you instantly and eternally qualify for that tier even if you go back down.

PRIZES
There will be some prizes that be awarded to you as you hit each tier as well.

Bronze - a bronze Hall of Fame jacket
Silver - a silver Hall of Fame ring
Gold - a gold Hall of Fame trophy (a bust if I can find it)

If those aren't enough of an incentive, let me know and we will keep working on it.

LOGO
I spent way too much time on the Triple Crown logo, but very happy/proud with how it turned out.

The 3 levels of color in the logo represent our tiers:
- The gold crown
- The silver lettering in "TRIPLE CROWN"
- The bronze lettering in "Fantasy Leagues"

The 3 colored jewels represent our leagues:
- Orange for the ESPN based basketball website
- Green for football
- Blue for baseball

THIS SITE
Like I said, I will posting weekly recaps, news, updates here from now on. But if you click on the on the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner, you will also notice some other helpful info.

BEST SOURCE FOR STARTING LINEUPS
- FantasyLabs for basketball, baseball, and football have been a game changer for me personally when it comes to who is playing/who is sitting on a daily basis (ESPECIALLY for basketball and baseball). I've attached the link to each of their twitter handles here.

FANTASY WEBSITES
- I've listed ESPN because that's what we use for our leagues but I've come to use FantasyPros and Rotoworld almost exclusively for articles, rankings, start/sit, and other content. Let me know if there any other sites you like as well that we can add.

OWNER TWITTER ACCOUNTS
- I attached the links for our team specific twitter accounts that we created for football. If anyone else would like to set one up, let me know and I will add it. This might be a dead box but thought it would be fun to have.

Anything else to add to this site? Want to make it as much of a one-stop shop as possible.

Think that's it for now.

Game on.

Epic X Week 10 Power Rankings

By Kevin Turley 1. Ian (Last week #1) Chooooo chooooo! All aboard. This train keeps on rolling. The highest scoring team in the league this week. Other teams have gone "all in" to win in years past, but this may be the best we have seen in recent years. Ian was at a crossroads. Throwing caution to the wind he was one of the first teams to "buy" to try and make a run. And boy is he running. The questionable starting of Tua over Ben didn't even matter (-21 points). The McCaffery injury didn't matter (will he get healthy in time for the Epic X playoffs?). Ekeler is still on IR and no Chargers running back has grabbed that role. He will be a beast when he returns. Julio Jones and Jamison Crowder were on bye weeks. It didn't matter. Even with the lucky Valdes-Scantling pickup (30 points), take that away, he still wins this week. Ian is deep and talented. This is the clear cut #1 team in the league this year and it's going to be hard to knock him down from...

Epic X Week 12 Power Rankings

By Kevin Turley Note: These rankings are being released late this week because A: there is a game being played right now. On a Wednesday afternoon. Crazy. B: On Sunday I got sick and tested positive for COVID. It’s been like the flu for me. Life and work have been a lot to navigate - but I am feeling better today. If you need me, I’m quarantined until Dec. 9. You know where I am.   #1 Paul (Last week #1) Paul only scored the 4th highest amount of team points this week. This is the scoring week that his fellow playoff contenders want to see. Good. But not great. Paul is going to have to land on on a lineup. Does Montgomery sit? Is Thomas a must start without a passing QB at the helm in New Orleans?? Make no mistake. Wilson didn’t have to do much versus the Eagles. Rest up buddy. Phipps is going to need you. Too much talent, had an off week and still won, this team is still the best in the league.  #2 Chad (Last week #4) You can’t score 200 points and not move up. 200 point...
